The staff at the hotel provided exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. However, the breakfast options were limited and the room could benefit from better soundproofing and air conditioning control. the hotel's convenient location near a metro station was a definite plus, making it easy to explore Istanbul.

akgun hotel provided a fabulous stay experience with a large, clean, well-equipped room featuring a wide and comfortable bed. the friendly staff, including the reception and restaurant teams, went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. the location is ideal, close to the Grand Bazaar and with a metro station just 15 meters away. Free amenities such as WiFi, fruit basket, and a charming complimentary magnet upon checkout added to the overall enjoyable experience.

The puddings at Akgun were simply divine, like a sweet symphony in my mouth! Staff courtesy and central location near metro added to the charm. Plus, the late checkout was a cherry on top!

While the Internet held up for work, sipping coffee with constant drops during video calls felt like foamy frustration. A stronger brew in the connection would sweeten the stay.

The Istanbul metro and bus stations provided convenient access to all the key spots like shopping centres, museums, and the convention centre. The hotel itself had everything I needed, from delicious meals at the restaurant to a relaxing day at the spa. And the best part? A quick walk brought me face to face with iconic landmarks like the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. A truly historic and convenient getaway for any architecture buff like me. Oh, and the pool bar definitely became my favorite spot for a drink!

Overall great stay of 3 nights. Everything was great, loved my stay there. The room was amazing and luxury, included with a large bathroom, view to schools in the backyard, new furniture:)))

My go-to place! Helpful staff and great taxi tip made my first stay memorable. Has everything I need: Wi-Fi, 24-hr service, pool, spa, gym, game room. No pets or smoking. Coming back for New Year's!

It was a really really nice stay, safe place. Really enjoyed the à la carte restaurant with a big breakfast buffet.

We had a real good stay in a long time. The hotel was impeccably clean and relaxing, had delightful views of the property which is very huge and spectacular. We liked the location just next door to Istanbul and the Old city walls and a main boulevard, it was central.

the hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. it's close to a transit way and a major hospital. you can reach the old town and Taksim Square easily.

I loved that the room was luxury with 4 beds. Fab location, walking distance to Fatih Mosque and Complex. There was a rooftop restaurant nearby. It was as expected, had a very relaxing stay in this hotel.

Spent here 1 good day and would return anytime. The restaurant was nice at mazanine floor, I tried delicious dishes. It was in a classic building with great view from of the 6th floor where my room was.

The gift shop had the coolest souvenirs, and the tour desk hooked us up with all the deets on the local attractions. Plus, they even helped us score a sick ride for cruising around the city.

Just one thing - it would've been epic to have a more happening vibe at the rooftop lounge for us young, party-loving peeps.

Kudos to consistently courteous staff, magnificent views, unbeatable location not far from airport to the city center, Ulubatli metro station, autoroute. Breakfast was awesome and had lots of food.

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, prompt and helpful, especially Ahmet and the attendants who always assisted us with taxis. the breakfast is truly outstanding, with a diverse selection and central location that made it easy for every taxi driver to find. the room service is top-notch, making our stay amazing.

One thing that could be improved is the slow wifi in the rooms, which caused inconvenience. the air conditioning, although central, could work better.

During my recent business trip to Istanbul, my director chose Akgun Hotel for our stay, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The gymnasium was well-equipped and allowed me to keep up with my fitness routine even while traveling. The traditional Turkish bath was a luxurious experience, providing a much-needed relaxation after a long day of meetings. Additionally, the sauna and massage saloon were top-notch, and I left feeling rejuvenated and energized. The onsite spa, RENASPA, offered a range of indulgent treatments, including aromatherapy, facials.

I chose this hotel for attending a conclave and I was pleased with the 24-hour room service and business center facilities. The outdoor swimming pool provided a perfect way to unwind after a long day, and the shopping center was convenient for my general needs.

I did miss having a dedicated conference room for my work meetings.
